Fraction Tile Package

This valuable fraction modeling manipulative set contains 44 high-quality plastic tiles in 7 colors. Pieces include the unit square and unit square equivalent quantities of 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/6, 1/8, 1/12, and 1/16 tiles.

With these tiles, students learn to add, subtract, divide, and multiply fractions with understanding. Large 8-inch unit square makes even the smallest fractional result easy to see. Pieces are transparent and easy to use on the overhead projector. As colors mix on the screen, answers pop out.

Other components include a Manipulative Book for independent student exploration, a Student Book posing a number of fraction problems, and a Teacher Book with answers and a complete discussion of the activities. Grades 2-9.
