Miquon Lab Materials Notes to Teachers

Miquon Lab Materials use Cuisenaire® Rods to help children become creative and independent problem solvers. Students are led to develop computational skills through creating and examining a variety of number patterns and series. Six student workbooks contain over 600 lab sheets for first through third grade students covering all important topics. The six books vary in design and format but are sequenced by level to serve as either a full program or enrichment for another series. Well suited for home teaching.

The teacher books provide instruction and philosophy for teaching primary children and comes from a gifted teacher who heard the children and responded to their needs.

The First Grade Diary is a case history of a specific class to refine methods and procedures for the benefit of future classes.
